CANDY MARBLE PAINT – REGAL BLUE
CANDY MARBLE PAINT – REGAL BLUE WHEELS
These wheels are for a very special project that we are building.
They were blasted and powder coated black, scotched to form a good key and a perfect base for our paint to go on!
To start with the wheels were painted with one coat of our aerosol pewter silver marble and then stippled with screwed up cling film to get the random marble pattern. Its a lot simpler than most people think!
After an hour or so, candy regal blue was applied over the marble. We used four coats just to make sure that rich deep blue really shone.
To complete it, we applied our “Just like glass” lacquer and voila! Stunning candy marble paint!
If you like this paintjob and want something similar just give us a call and we are more than happy to talk to you about making your marble dreams come true! If you want something totally different we can also advise on what colours would look best and make your bike be the envy of everyone!
Our sister company Complete Cafe Racer sell parts which will give that last little details the glow they need to make your paintwork amaze everyone who sees it!

CUSTOM PAINTED TANK – CANDYS AND METALLIC BLACK
CUSTOM PAINTED TANK – CANDYS AND METALLIC
An interesting job to do and a bit time consuming too! However the final result is so worth it!
We started with the base which is our medium silver flake which we then covered with our “just like glass” clear lacquer. We only put enough lacquer on to cover the flake which we then flatted back ready for the fun bit! The airbrush work and masking.
We ended up using FOUR (yes four) different candys all blended together over the flake we had put on. Once that was all looking beautifully blended we then removed the masking ready for the metallic black base to be applied. Once again after we took all the masking off it was covered it our “just like glass” clear to make sure it looked delightfully shiny!

CANDY PAINTWORK ON HONDA CD200
CANDY PAINTWORK ON HONDA CD200 IN REGAL BLUE
This is obviously a Honda CD200. It is painted in a slightly darkened course silver metallic base so that the blue can really pop through.
Following this we masked up the Honda logo, chequers and web address for the decals and applied the metallic silver base. We used chequers as it was something we had been doing for a while (and if we’re honest, we had spare masking around!)
We then did the grand unmasking and applied 3 coats of our regal blue candy finished off by 2k clear to give a stunning shine you could see yourself in!

CUSTOM PAINT – NICE AND SIMPLE SILVER FLAKE
CUSTOM PAINT – NICE AND SIMPLE SILVER FLAKE
Though it may be simple, it is so stunning! This is our medium silver flake painted on to a tank. I do have to quickly say though, although the result is stunning our paint booth looks like the sugar plum fairy has had an all night rave in there! Glitter everywhere, all over our unit, the paint booth, our houses, in Tony’s beard!
To finish off this custom paint job we put on a few coats of our “just like glass” clear to give a shine and let all the stunning silver flake do its thing.

CUSTOM PAINTJOB – MEDIUM SILVER METALLIC BASE
CUSTOM PAINTJOB – MEDIUM SILVER METALLIC BASE FOR DUCATI.
Again another simple and classic one, this often hits people for its understated beauty with a nice classic semi-matte silver. I personally adore it!
This custom paintjob was done on a Ducati scrambler tank and we wanted to keep it nice and simple to let the bike speak for itself.
We painted it in our medium silver metallic base coat which gives it the lovely and simple silver sheen. To finish this job off we finished it in our matte 2k clear which I think gives a nice blend of shine and satin.

RESTORATION PAINTWORK – TRIUMPH T100
RESTORATION PAINTWORK – TRIUMPH T100
We do offer a restoration paintwork service where we will get your bike back to its former glory!
We fully restored the triumph in our workshop with the careful supervision of Debs (the customer) who also happens to be a good friend who also works on the same industrial estate we do.
To begin with it was painted in black ground coat on the top half of the tank and the bottom half was done in our fine silver metallic base coat. Given this was a restoration we wanted to keep this as simple as possible and avoid our tendency to chuck flake at everything we see!
To finish it off we applied our “just like glass” lacquer to give it shine. Safe to say Debs was absolutely chuffed with it and we still get to see the bike sometimes when she’s at work!

PAINTJOB – SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE
SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE PAINTJOB
This is a XS1100 paintjob that was brought in by a customer who wanted something simple, yet effective. So we decided to go down the black out route!
This was painted with our black ground coat for the stunning and solid black we wanted to achieve. To finish it off we applied our “just like glass” clear (For a change!). To give that superb shine we then flatted back the paintwork and polished it which is why it shines so much!
You can even see our reflections in the paint when we were trying to take photos which was quite frustrating in the end so we just thought we would share ourselves with the world!

MARBLED CANDY PAINTWORK
Marbled Candy Paintwork
First and foremost we and the customer completely adored this paintwork! There was quite a few processes involved however to get it to its current state.
To start with, everything was painted in our fine pewter pearl to provide a solid base. Before doing this we had masked off the side of the tanks and mudguards so we had room to put the black ground coat on. Next up was the black ground coat on the tops which again was masked off for the fine line work also on this.
Then the fun bit came, we applied our silver water based marble paint and worked with cling film, patiently stippling until we got to the perfect marble. After a few hours baking in the booth, our candy autumn red was applied to give that deep sexy red this tank has.
The next morning after it had dried we applied our “just like glass” clear to make sure there was an ultra smooth, line free finish.

CLASSIC PAINTWORK – VMAX ANNIVERSARY PAINT
CLASSIC PAINTWORK – VMAX ANNIVERSARY PAINTWORK
The customer gave us a very specific brief for this bike. To replicate the VMAX anniversary paintwork, however we were told to put our own spin on it to really make it stand out of the crowd.
So we came up with the distinctive Yamaha speed blocks in a black base coat to start with, we then outlined it with the white base before the bumble bee yellow got involved! To make it super vibrant and fresh, we decided to use our bumblebee yellow candy which when lined up against the black gives the best contrast!
AND it wouldn’t be one of our paintjobs if it didn’t have our just like glass lacquer to shine it up!

Psychedelic chop painted in MEDIUM METALFLAKE and ALL OF OUR CANDIES!
This multi show winning bike was painted spring 2019 for a very good friend of ours, when it was explained to me what she wanted doing i wasnt too sure at first, but now the finished result has proved me wrong! (first time for everyting)
We painted this in our medium silver flake, cleared it and flatted it back ready for the candy application, this is where it got interesting, Layla the builder and owner of this chop came into the booth and we let the paint job evolve, both of us applying and blending the candies and fine lining the top and one side of the tank as well as the rear mudguard. our “just like glass” clear was then applied to give the ultimate show bike finish.
Unfortunately pictures do not do it justice it needs to be seen in the sun to see just how much it spakles and pops

Honda tank painted in STRIKING BLUE CANDY and FINE WHITE PEARL -look out for the honda logo
Our customer wanted a subtle Honda logo on the side of his tank that we were painting so this is what we came up with.
The whole tank was painted in our coarse silver metallic base and the Honda wing was masked up, we then added a couple of drops of our black base to the silver making it a shade darker, the masking was removed and the whole tank was painted with our striking blue candy -with candies being translucent the metallic and the different shades show through. This was then masked for the fine white pearl stripe over a white ground coat down the centre. The painted tank had several coats of our “just like glass” clear- the pictures show the paint un polished straight from the gun.
You should see it in the sun it really pops and the logo can just be seen
